August and what's on my mind

Hello there, 

Here is a blog for Tuesday evening. 

Being a musician is an interesting lifestyle and one thing I have learned is that it is constantly evolving and there is always room for improvement.  I recently purchased Ariel Hyatt’s book “Nine Weeks to Music Success”.  If you are unfamiliar with her she is an amazing woman who works with many bands to help them become successful though their online PR and much more. I have gone through a few chapters and have been doing many of the things she is suggesting so I was proud of myself but it’s time to start filling in the gaps.  I honestly don’t know what it was like for musician’s before the social media highway but thanks to people like Ariel, it helps to make more sense of it!  

There is a whole other world to music than just the music and luckily I am happy with both.  It combines my passions together so I feel very fortunate.  When things come together it’s really amazing and rewarding.  I have a fantastic band mates, a supportive family, great fans, and wonderful friends that make it all possible. <3
